At Akimbo we do awesome cappuccinos (friends don't let friends drink bad coffee), family, kids birthday parties, country vibe, school outings, play dates, holiday activities, life, love and laughter.

Our spacious outdoor playground shouts “good wholesome country” and serves day visitors as well as partygoers. Our separate toddler area caters for little people ages 1 - 3 years only, while the large open-space playground is set-up for kids 3+ years.

Our coffee shop serves breakfast, delicious light meals and child-friendly snacks. Indoor as well as outdoor - come rain or shine! Day visitors entry fee: R20 per child. We accept debit/credit cards.

Birthday parties - we believe that every child deserves a special birthday party. We do, however, also believe that as parents, we should perhaps get back to the drawing board and redefine what exactly that is. Many moms feel pressurised to match the last “awesome” party their child attended and the joyous task of arranging that special celebration turns into an overwhelming task. Moms are sweating while they are supposed to be having fun!
